The Hills Are Alive With the Sound of The Music

The Music, the up and coming baggy/grooverock outfit from Leeds (as heard on
Cornerstone Player .032), have completed their debut album and are preparing to unleash it
this fall. The album, oh-so-wittily entitled The Music will feature the band’s first
single, “Take The Long Road and Walk It,” as well as the track heard on the Player, “The
People.” September 2 is the release date for the Jim Abiss-produced album (DJ
Shadow, Bjork) in the UK, on Hut Records, with a US date to follow first thing
next year on Capitol.

The Music track listing is as follows:

‘The Dance”
‘Take The Long Road And Walk It”
“Human”
‘The Truth Is No Words”
“Float”
‘Turn Out The Light”
‘The People”
“Getaway”
“Disco”
‘Too High”
