The Rolling Stonesí dynamic duo backbone, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, will make their way to Springfield this fall where they will turn yellow, lose a finger, and chat it up with Homer J., Chief Wigham, Apu NahasapemaÖ(uh, just Apu) and the rest of the Springfield clan. The episode, which is scheduled to air in November, will see Homer making a trip to rock ëní roll fantasy camp, where hilarity is sure to ensue. Rumor has it that Mick and Keith will make their first appearance on the show by pulling an unlikely, cartoon-only stunt ñ riding a huge blimp into the center of town. Oh, waitÖ that was real life ñ crazy f*cks. Over the years The Simpsons has played host to an enormous quantity of rock stars, both old and new. Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Britney Spears, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Who, and even NíSync (or maybe the Backstreet Boys. I canít tell the difference anymore.) have all made guest appearances on the record-setting animated series. The Stones kick off a year-long world tour on September 3 in Boston and The Simpsons are on your local FOX affiliate every day at least once, twice on weekdays.
