Sharon Osbourne: Cancer Not Gone

Sad news has come out of the Osbourne household: evidently Sharon’s colon surgery didn’t stem the tide of the cancer she had been diagnosed with. Cancerous cells have been detected in a nearby lymph node, meaning the queen of the family will undergo three months of chemotherapy, which will initiate in 10 days. In true MTV reality programming fashion, Sharon will allow cameras to film her during the chemo process. In an interview with People Magazine, the family matriarch confessed, “You think nothing will ever happen to you. You’re invincible. Then after you get over the shock and panic you realize how lucky you are to be alive.” Hubby Ozzy didn’t fare as well with the news, as he evidently became hysterical and it was necessary for the family doctor to come over and sedate him. Hopefully, Sharon will rise above this as she has risen above everything else in the family’s sordid past.
