Kurt Cobain Diaries on the Way

The book culled from Kurt Cobain diary entries will finally see the light of day. Entitled Kurt Cobain: The Journals, it is a compilation of over 800 pages spanning 23 books of notes kept by the Nirvana genius throughout his lifetime. Book editorial director Julie Grau, discussing the release with Billboard, said that Journals suffered from little outside influence in the form of editing and that it was “pure, unadulterated Kurt Cobain.” The book is understood to also contain things as diverse as fan correspondence and sketches of stage layout for live shows. The Journals hits shelves November 11 on Riverhead Books.
