Superdrag will spend the fine month of August on the road, in support of their fourth album Last Call For Vitriol. Pitchfork posted that that Tennessee quartet will begin their nationwide trek on August 2 in Anaheim. Supporting the rock n roll outfit, best known for their radio hit “Sucked Out” in the late nineties, will be Deathray Davies, an ear shattering crew from Dallas. Even though Superdrag have not been embraced by radio since their 1996 debut Regretfully Yours, that doesn’t mean that these dudes don’t plug in and explode their ferocious style of pure, solid, rock smashes for the asses every time they hit the stage. I have seen them enough to know that they are very tight, they write catchy pop-rock tunes, and you should check them if you can.
