Brit-pop superstars Coldplay have announced plans to preview A Rush of Blood to the Head via a special website set up for the new album. Beginning Monday, August 5 with “Politik,” the site will stream one track at a time for a 24-hour period. The special listening session will end on August 16 with “Amsterdam.” Coldplay will kick off a 20-date North American tour in support of A Rush of Blood to the Head with an MTV2 $2 bill show tonight at Chicago’s Vic Theater. Watch the show live on MTV2 this evening at 10:00pm ET. Coldplay will then loop their way across the US and Canada before returning to Chi-town to wrap the tour at the UIC Pavilion on September 24. A Rush of Blood to the Head is due out on August 26 through Capitol. Check out the full tour itinerary.
