The president of the Club For Rock Stars with Different Colored Eyes, David Bowie, is planning to release another greatest hits compilation, but this time, it’s one spanning his entire career. Fresh off his nomination for the Shortlist Music Project, Bowie will release the oh-so-originally titled Best of Bowie on October 22 with a DVD release to follow two weeks later on November 5. The CD will be arranged essentially on a timeline, starting with “Space Oddity” and running through to his most recent work, while the DVD will contain unreleased material, as well as videos. If you can’t wait for the hits package, you can always check the man out at Area:2, running through next Friday, August 16, when it wraps up in George, WA.
