Box Car Racer, the moody and less shiny side project of Blink-182, will tour this fall with new-metal upstarts the Used, and hardcore kids turned melodicore, H20. Album sales for Box Car Racer, which consists of Travis and Tom, have not even come close to the billionaire Blink status, but fans will turn out for the possibility that Tom might say “boobies” on stage. MTV told us that the tour kicks off in Dallas on October 5, and will run right up to Thanksgiving. The Used are getting some solid airplay on 120 minutes for their video “A Box Full of Sharp Objects,” and they are currently drinking blood on Ozzfest. Their self-titled debut album came out in June on MCA. H20’s friends still look out for them like family.
