Groove Armada Invite Friends to Share the Love

London-based electronic duo Groove Armada will release their latest effort, Love Box, this fall on Jive Records. According to Rolling Stone, the pair recruited a host of special guests to appear on the album, including Sunshine Anderson, Nappy Roots, Criminal from NYC’s Jig Masters, folk legend Richie Havens, and Neneh Cherry. Richie Havens, most famous for his passionate performance at the original Woodstock, also appeared on Groove Armada’s 2001 outing, Good Bye Country, Hello Nightclub. The duo plan to bring along a full band, including a brass section, when they tap the States next year in support of the “quite guitar-y” new Love Box.
