Starsailor Rock Out Behind Spector’s Wall of Sound

As was previously insinuated on The Tripwire.com, Starsailor have collaborated with the one and only Phil Spector. The band has recorded “Silence is Easy” and another currently nameless track with the famous producer, and in doing so, become the first group to record with the “Wall of Sound” creator since The Ramones had Spector produce 1980’s End of the Century. No word as to when these recordings will be made available to the public, but, in the meantime, the ‘Sailor will satiate their homeland fans with a live DVD/video entitled Love is Here Live, a biographic piece combined with a live recording from November 1, 2000 at the London Forum. The band plans to finish recording their sophomore album in the Fall, with release scheduled for the middle of next year.
