Coldplay to Perform at Tonight’s Amnesty International Benefit

Actually, just Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland of Coldplay will be in attendance, but the two will make an unbilled appearance tonight at the Amnesty International concert series kick off in Los Vegas. According to Launch.com, the duo will perform three or four songs in an acoustic setting. Coldplay just finished a series of smaller venue shows, but, after a show in Paris on August 27, they will be returning in September for 11 more North American shows. As previously reported, Aimee Mann and Beth Orton will co-headline tonight’s Amnesty International benefit. The show is the first in a series of concerts being planned in support of the human rights organization over the next few months.
