Richard Ashcroft Describes Human Condition October 21

Ex-Verve frontman and all-round Cornerstone fave Richard Ashcroft has announced the details of his sophomore solo release. Human Conditions will hit UK stores on October 21, but initial single “Check the Meaning” will arive two weeks prior. According to “Mad Richard,” this will be one of two albums he will release in an approximate 12-month span. In an interview with NME he also stated that,

“The creative process ain’t going to stop now, so I’m aiming to release this album in early October and then, in 11 or 12 months time, the next one will come out.” Ashcroft must be really getting in the mood for the just started Barclaycard Premier League season (UK football, for you uninformed types), as he also remarked,

“I think there’s been quite a few times in the past where I’ve felt like a star player dogged by injury. I’d love it if there was a more realistic creative approach to making music rather than feeling that every record is some kind of comeback.”

Human Condition tracklisting:

“Check the Meaning”

“Buy It in Bottles”

“Bright Lights”

“Paradise”

“God in the Numbers”

“Science of Silence”

“Man On A Mission”

“Running Away”

“Lord I’ve Been Trying”

“Nature is the Law”
