Bizkit Hire Rick Rubin, Take a Stab At Borland With New Album Title

Annoying rap/metal giants Limp Bizkit have hired legendary producer Rick Rubin to man the helm for their forthcoming album. The long-awaited (not by me) new album has been titled Less Is More, which is an obvious stab at departed guitarist Wes Borland, who wised up and quit the band last October. More than 20 songs have already been recorded for Less Is More, with frontman Fred Durst and bassist Sam Rivers filling in on guitar. The Bizkit did conduct a highly publicized nationwide search for a new guitarist upon Borland’s departure, but were unable to find a suitable replacement for the face painting axe-man. Can Fred Durst really fill in for Borland? Will studio genius Rick Rubin be able to save Limp Bizkit? Is less really more? Does anyone really care? Well, according to MTV, Durst and company are shooting for a release between December and February, so you can judge for yourself. I’m sure we’ll throw in our two cents as well. Stay tuned.
