Manics Greatest Hits No Longer Forever Delayed

No, they haven’t located the still-missing Richey Edwards but Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers are back in the news. The tracklisting for their upcoming greatest hits compilation, Forever Delayed, has been set and a street date of October 14 announced. The trio, who have sold endless records in the UK and were amongst the biggest rock acts of the ’90s in their home isles, will include two new songs, “Door To The River” and “There By The Grace Of God,” amongst the 20-track collection. Songs chosen span their 11-year recording career, from early work “You Love Us” and “Motown Junk” to far later and more subdued-era Manics, like “The Everlasting” and “If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next.” Even “Little Baby Nothing” with, ooh, singer extraordinaire Traci Lords on backing vocals made the list. How special!
