Teenage Fanclub Cull 79 Minutes of Hits

Scottish Byrds and Big Star fanatics Teenage Fanclub are set to release a collection of hits spanning their 11-year career. Entitled 4,766 Seconds – A Short Cut To Teenage Fanclub (that’s just a touch over 79 minutes; running length of the CD, perhaps?), the 21-track anthology will feature three new songs, “Did I Say,” “The World’ll Be OK,” and “Empty Space,” as well as tracks from all six of the band’s albums. The album drops on November 4 in the UK and will be followed by a 12-date tour of the UK and Ireland. No domestic release news as of now, but if this wondrous jangle-pop compilation is to be released on our shores, you’ll be amongst the first to know.
