Jeff Tweedy, Jim OíRourke Shave Their Loose Fur

Singer/songwriter/Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy, engineer/composer Jim OíRourke and skin banger Glenn Kotche will release an album early next year under the guise of Loose Fur. OíRourke told Rolling Stone that the trioís self-titled album was a fairly straightforward record, adding, ì[Itís] somewhere in between me and Jeff. I think [it] has elements of Jeff that people didnít know about until now. Itíll make sense when people hear it.î The collaborative efforts between these three musicians were initially sparked in 2000 at the Noise Pop festival in Chicago. Since then Tweedy has gone on to join OíRourke on 2001ís Insignificance and in true ìyou scratch my back, Iíll scratch yoursî fashion, OíRourke mixed Wilcoís amazing Yankee Hotel Foxtrot album. Weíll keep you up to date as more Loose Hair falls into place.
