Blink-182/Box Car Racer/The Transplants drummer Travis Barker is fast becoming the hardest working drummer in the rock world. His latest side project, The Transplants, will drop their debut album on October 22 via Hellcat Records. The Transplants are a punk rock super group of sorts with Barker, Rob Aston and Rancidís Tim Armstrong comprising the core members, but Rancidís Lars Frederiksen, the Distillersí Brody Armstrong, AFIís Davey Havok and Nerve Agentsí Eric Ozenne will all appear on the untitled album. Barker calls the Transplantsí music ìas hard as you can possibly get.î According to MTV, Barkerís other side project, Box Car Racer, just finished shooting the second video from their self-titled album and are gearing up for a North American tour. Following the Boxcar tour, Barker will have just a couple of weeks to himself before beginning work on Blink-182ís new album. Phew, Iím getting tired just thinking about it.
