No Doubt, Sum 41 To Put A Spell On You At Voodoo Festival

On November 2 in New Orleans (or Nawlins if youíre really cool), the City Park will be transformed into an enormous, thriving musical hotbed. Punk rockers, pop-kids, hippies, club kids, and funk aficionados will all converge on the Big Easy to catch their favorite bands, get drunk on Hurricanes and Hand Grenades, and experiment with every drug known to man. Acts scheduled to perform this year include No Doubt, Sum 41, Nappy Roots, the Crystal Method, 311, Garbage, Counting Crows, Macy Gray, the X-ecutioners, Galactic, DJ Z-Trip, Jurassic 5, Jack Johnson, and the North Mississippi Allstars.

According to MTV, Rehage Entertainment, who is responsible for organizing the event, are also sponsoring a number of shows around the city in a series called Voodoo After Dark. Tickets are currently on sale for the Voodoo Music Experience through Ticketmaster. Donít forget to stop by a drive-thru daiquiri shop on you way, and Snake ní Jakes (uptown) canít be beat for after-hours craziness!
