Your Idlewild is in my Teenage Fanclub! No! Your Teenage Fanclub is in my Idlewild! Two great Scottish tastes that taste great together! Or something. Fanclub frontman Norman Blake will appear on a cover of his band’s debut single, “Everything Flows,” which Idlewild is recording as a B-side to their upcoming single, “Live In A Hiding Place.” The single, the third from their stellar third album The Remote Part, will also contain a cover of “I Found That Essence Rare” by Gang Of Four, although, sadly, no members of either Teenage Fanclub or Gang Of Four are set to appear. And, in case you plan to be in the UK in October, Idlewild will be on tour, opening up for Coldplay.
