Public Enemy Looks To Next Wave, Take Blackalicious/Dilated Peoples on Tour

Groundbreaking rappers Public Enemy are yet again hitting the road, bringing their brand of in-your-face rhymes to a venue near you. Supporting their new album, Revolverlution, the band will kick off their 3-week jaunt in Pittsburgh, PA, on September 18 and call it a wrap in San Francisco on October 10. Go to one of the shows and you won’t just be getting a taste of PE, however, as the influential NY kingpins are being joined by Bay Area collective Blackalicious and fellow West Coasters Dilated Peoples. In the day of solid headliners and wack openers, this tour definitely stands out. As long as Stephan Jenkins doesn’t try to get on stage, thinking Public Enemy are Run DMC.
