For John Squire, Time Changes Everything, Including Roses Reunion?

YES YES YES! This is the best news I have heard in a long time, especially in a week like this one. Former Stone Roses axeman John Squire said that he could forsee a situation in which his former band reunites. Squire, whose debut solo album, Time Changes Everything, drops next week, has previously stated that he did not believe the Stone Roses would get back together. In an interview with the NME, however, Squire said that while he would not want to reform solely to rehash old material, he would be interested in getting back together to record new material and tour around that.

“If we were to reform, it would have to be to make a new album, and do a proper tour with new songs. I believe that will happen one day,” he revealed. No response from Ian Brown, Gary “Mani” Mounfield or Alan “Reni” Wren but this is exciting news. As I am a huge Stone Roses-style Beavis, expect to hear more on this subject as new information becomes available. Time does INDEED change everything.
