Cornershop Hosts Going Out Of Business Sale

Quirky London-based rockers Cornershop have been dropped by their label Wiiija and may be retiring from the music business all together. Today’s Sun newspaper is reporting that frontman Tjinder Singh has told friends that he is disgusted with the music industry, prompting the possible retirement. According to NME, a spokesperson at the label has confirmed the band’s departure, but was unclear about the band’s future plans. Fellow band member Ben Ayers has said that the band will release a full statement shortly.
