Finally, A Nirvana Release Date Is Upon Us

After years and years and legal battles and psychiatric tests and public bickering and bla bla bla bla bla, a release date for a Nirvana greatest hits package is finally here. Actually, according to Dave, Krist, and Courtney, the compilation will be a “history of the band” (does that mean greatest hits?) that will include the mysteriously leaked, previously unheard “You Know You’re Right.” The compilation will make its way to your local record shops on November 12, but, sadly, the highly-anticipated Nirvana box set will not see the light of day until 2004.

A rarities album is also in the works, though release information on that title has yet to be announced. According to allstarnews.com, a video, featuring never-before-seen footage of Nirvana is being put together for “You Know You’re Right” as well. I hope it debuts at number 1 on TRL. I love you, Carson!
