Resfest Brings The World’s Best Short Films, Music Videos To NYC

The sixth annual Resfest will kick off next Wednesday (October 16) in New York City. The festival will bring over 100 of the year’s most inspiring short films, music videos, and animation to the Big Apple, including world premieres of Stefan Nadelman’s Terminal Bar and Doug Aitken and Adam Levite’s Interpol video. Spike Jonze’s new comedic short film and Nick Knight’s uncensored film for Bjork, Pagan Poetry, have screenings as well. According to Resfest organizers, this year’s edition will be the biggest ever with seven thematic shorts programs, two music video programs, to feature films, a free DV filmmaking workshop and a retrospective of the work of visionary filmmaker Chris Cunningham.

The festival runs from October 16 to the 20 at the Tishman Auditorium at the New School in NYC. All-event passes run $80 and single event tix will set you back $10. Go to www.resfest.com for more information.
