
Illustrious UK magazine Q has announced the nominees for its annual award ceremony. The Hives and Oasis are both up for three awards, with the Swedes pulling in nominations in the categories of Best Live Act, Best Single and Best Video (the latter two for
“Hate To Say I Told You So”), while the mainstays from Manchester are also up for the Best Single and Best Live Act awards, while also getting a nod for Best Act In The World Today. Other nominees include Coldplay, The Vines, The White Stripes and The Strokes. In year 13, the ceremony this year will be held at an undisclosed London location on October 21.
