Kurt Cobain’s Journals Can Be Read In November

Hip hip hooray! 2002 has unofficially been dubbed the “resurrection” year of Kurt Cobain. In addition to the release of the long awaited “You Know You’re Right” single and video, a collection of random diary entries from the late singer entitled Journals will be available on November 4 of this year. According to cnn.com, Riverhead Books paid Courtney Love $4 million for the publishing rights for this first class tour inside the thoughts and feelings of the leader of Generation X. Cobain’s sarcastic yet sincere views on life cover a number of topics, including his addiction to heroin, his horrible stomach pains, fame, girls, and rock and roll. Newsweek has printed a few of the letters in their latest issue, so if you can’t wait until November, you should actually buy Newsweek…for once.
