Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett Handles Vocals For New Side Project

Chris Shiflett, axeman for the Foo Fighters, has recorded 20+ songs for an upcoming side project with the Face To Face rhythm section – Pete Parada on drums and Chrisí brother Scott Shiflett on bass. ìItís guitar pop,î Chris said in an interview with Rolling Stone. ìItís not nearly as heavy as Foo Fighters stuff. And thereís some stuff thatís pretty mellow and vibey.î The trio worked on recording new material while Dave Grohl was off drumming for QOTSA. Chris Shiflett is currently finishing up the vocals at the home studio of producer Chad Blinman (Face To Face, Get Up Kids, Dishwalla), who was brought in to help out with the knob twisting. The side project has yet to be given a name, but once they make up their mind, weíll let you know.
