American New Order fans can finally rest easy, as the band’s forthcoming box set will actually see Stateside release. It was originally thought that the four-disc set, entitled Retro, would not be released in the US at all, and we were already making plans to get a hold of one via Canada, eh. Now it seems that importing Retro from our hockey-loving neighbors won’t be necessary, as the box set will drop in the US on December 17 via Warner/Qwest. Spanning the 20+ year-long career of New Order, Retro will feature all of the band’s hits as well as b-sides, remixes and a live disc, hand chosen by Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie.
International, a single-disc greatest hits package will also be released in the US on January 28. Check out Retro’s track listing below.
