Josh Homme To Appear On Next U.N.K.L.E. Album?

Remember 1998’s excellent (OK, well, excellent in parts) album Psyence Fiction from U.N.K.L.E.? Remember how the James Lavelle/DJ Shadow joint had a boatload of mad beats and a virtual armada of guest vocalists, ranging from Mike D. to Richard Ashcroft to Thom Yorke to a pre-Mercury Music Prize winning Badly Drawn Boy? Well, Mr. Lavelle is at it again. While the concept was brilliant last time, sometime the execution was lacking, but Lavelle is lining up vocalists again and has approached Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme about contributing. In fact, Lavelle has already given Homme some tracks to work on. Sounds like a promising start. As further singers are brought on board, you know where you’ll read it.
