After months of speculation and underground rumblings, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has admitted that he and Gwenyth Paltrow had met up over the weekend for some variety of extracurriculars. While he said that he had just met her two weeks ago (strange, as the rumors has persisted for eight times that long, at least), he said that they had just hung out for the first time this past weekend. Paltrow is a noted Britpop enthusiast, having been sighted at Radiohead and Travis shows in the Bay Area in past years. Martin told dotmusic.com that while nothing had occurred between the two stars, that he was having a hard time getting is head around the whole thing “because she’s a big Hollywood star and I’m just the bloke from Coldplay.” More news on Celebrity Lovefest 2002 as it becomes available.
