The amazing Flaming Lips, currently on one of the year’s best tours with Beck, apparently enjoyed their recent stay in Chicago so much that they are going to return for a special show. NME is reporting that the Lips will ring in the New Year at the Windy City’s beloved Metro. Can you think of anything better than spending New Year’s Eve in Flaming Lips land ñ that strange and beautiful alternate dimension where life sized stuffed animals walk freely amongst humans?
