Neil Simon Returns With New Laughter On The 23rd Floor Of ABC

Neil Simon, the famous playwright and creator of the beloved sitcom that many Americans are addicted to more than crack, is coming back to prime time television. The one time writer for classic 1950s shows such as Your Show of Shows, The Sid Caesar Show and The Gary Moore Show, has sold a pilot to ABC that he will write and executive produce. The famous Odd Couple show was based on Simonís feature and play, but Simon never wrote an episode. The new series revolves around two couples, and rather than divorce, the men decide to live in one house and the women in the other. Classic Neil Simon. Variety reports that the half-hour comedy will be seen in fall of 2003, and casting and production are currently underway.
