The Clash, Costello Nominated For Rock Hall

This year’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees have been announced and, as in past years, they reflect rock’s many different genres and influences. Five acts in all will receive the honor, including The Clash, Elvis Costello & The Attractions, The Police, The Righteous Brothers, and AC/DC. According to Launch, the 18th annual induction ceremony will go down on March 10, 2003 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC and will surely close with the always-entertaining, Twilight Zone-esque All-Star Jam. Shortly thereafter, VH1 will air an edited version of the ceremony. Artists become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first album.
