Dark Side Of The Moon Goes Dub

NYC reggae label Easy Star will release a song-by-song reggae/dub reinterpretation of Pink Floyd’s classic Dark Side Of The Moon album on February 18 called Dub Side Of The Moon. According to Billboard, the project was overseen by Easy Star’s in-house production duo Michael G and Ticklah and such reggae veterans as Corey Harris, Dr. Israel, Sluggy Ranks, Frankie Paul, and Wailers vocalist Gary “Nesta” Pine all made contributions to the album. Four years in the making, the tribute is said to recreate the most minute details of the landmark original, including sound effects, spoken interludes, and even its synchronization with The Wizard Of Oz. Wow, I want a copy!
