Death Cab For Cutie Lose Drummer But The Meter Is Still On

Death Cab For Cutie drummer Michael Schorr is the second skin banger in the bandís six year history to quit the band. Schorr apparently left the melodicore quartet on a ìmutualî and ìhappyî note, after contributing to the Forbidden Love EP, The Photo Album, and Stability recordings. Barsuk wants to reassure fans that this event, along with the 2003 release of The Postal Service (amazing side project of Ben Hibbard and Chris Walla that sounds like Zero Zero mixed with BS2000), doesnít mean that the Cab will call it quits. Pitchfork Media tells us that the band is in the studio working on their fourth album, prepping a spring tour and an appearance at the 2003 SXSW showcase.
