QOTSA Extend Collaboration Invite To PJ Harvey

The one and only Polly Jean Harvey was seen at a number of dates on the recent Queens Of The Stone Age UK tour, prompting the band’s Josh Homme to suggest a collaboration. According to NME, Homme asked Harvey to record with him when he puts together a new Desert Sessions compilation next year. Some past Desert Session invitees include the Screaming Trees’ Mark Lanegan, and members of Ween and Soundgarden. PJ Harvey is currently working on the follow-up to last year’s critically acclaimed Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea, while QOTSA are busy touring Europe. Both acts will also share a bill at Australia’s Big Day Out festival shows in January.
