Ryan Adams Goes Dove Hunting For Next LP

American Golden boy Ryan Adams has completed work on the proper follow-up to 2001’s critically acclaimed Gold. Entitled Love Is Hell, the album is set for a February 2003 release, but the prolific songwriter is already thinking about his next studio album. According to NME, Adams has approached none other than the Doves to be his backing band when he enters into the studio to record the follow-up to the not-yet-released Love Is Hell. Adams is reportedly trying to book some time at the legendary Abbey Road studios and is waiting to see if scheduling can be worked out with Doves. Recording would begin after the forthcoming album’s released in February.

Doves have previously played as a backing band for Badly Drawn Boy.
