Eagles Planning HUGE 2003 Tour

Eagles manager Irving Azoff has told Billboard that the band will kick off a major-market arena tour on May 8 at an undisclosed location. The aging rockers will play 40 dates through summer and 40 more in the fall of 2003. The Eagles toured mid-sized and smaller markets in 2002 and raked in an incredible $35 million from 31 consecutive sold out shows. The band is also planning to put out a new album next fall on an indie label dubbed “Eagles Recording Co.” by Azoff, making it their first album of new material in more than 20 years. We’ll let you know when the tour itinerary is announced.
