As previously reported, Coldplay will be headed back to the US for their 3rd Stateside tour in two years early next year. Now, the UK quartet has announced plans to extend their forthcoming jaunt by 13 dates. The newly added dates will start in Ottawa on February 24 and will run through March 13 in Minneapolis, stretching the trek to 26 dates in all. Coldplay will also take part in a number of radio sponsored holiday shows in December, beginning at the Universal Amphitheatre in LA for KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas. Before heading home for the holidays, Coldplay will pay a visit to David Letterman on December 16, where they will likely perform their new single, “Clocks.”
