Korn Pull The Plug On Pop Sux!

With only five shows remaining on Korn’s extensive Pop Sux! tour, the band has been forced to call it quits. Frontman Jonathan Davis’ howling screams on a nightly basis have put a serious strain on his vocal chords, and continuing could cause permanent damage. According to Launch, doctors urged the singer to quit the tour immediately last week, but he insisted on finishing two more shows on Wednesday and Thursday (December 4,5) in Toronto and Montreal. They were the only two Canadian stops on the tour, and were actually rescheduled from the band’s first tour leg earlier this year.

CANCELLED Korn tour dates:

12.07.02 – Binghamton, NY (Broome County Arena)

12.08.02 – Erie, PA (Erie Civic Center)

12.10.02 – Utica, NY (Memorial Coliseum)

12.11.02 – Reading, PA (Sovereign Center)

12.12.02 – Bridgeport, CT (Arena At Harbor Yard)
