Ex-Smiths axe magician Johnny Marr is finally ready to drop the debut album from his new project, Johnny Marr and the healers. The album, Boomslang, will hit shelves February 4 on iMUSIC and in celebration, the band, which also features Ringo Starr’s progeny, Zak Starkey, on drums and ex-Kula Shaker bassist Alonza Bevin, will head out for a two-week tour of the States. the healers will unleash their own brand of psychedelic Mancunian groove rock on Hoboken, with the first of three shows at Maxwell’s on January 15 and bring it to a close in West Hollywood on February 3.
