Another Of Ozzy’s Progeny Inks Record Deal

Think you know everything about Ozzy Osbourne and his band of misfits? Here’s something you may or may not have learned by watching his lovely family’s show: It seems Ozzy’s son from a previous marriage, Louis has just been inked to a 6-record deal by US label Strictly Rhythm Records. That’s nothing, you say, Kelly got a deal, too. Ahhh, yes, but Louis is a DJ! I wonder how THAT goes down at family reunions. Louis is a techno/deep house DJ and although his dad doesn’t particularly like that type of music, he managed to tell his son that “he appreciates that it would probably sound great if you were loaded.” Now when has Ozzy been loaded?

Louis also told Undercover.com that the success of his family’s show has affected him as well, even though he still lives in Ozzy’s home town of Birmingham. “Tabloid papers (are) knocking on the door every day, trying to dig dirt on the family. The funny thing is, there isn’t any dirt that hasn’t already been printed. What else could they print about my old man that could be worse than previous well-documented incidents? Fuck all!” I see he has his family’s mouth, as well. Louis’ debut album for Strictly Rhythm isn’t expected until 2004.
