Nada Surf Are Back, Better Than Ever, And Going On Tour

More than six years ago, Nada Surf erupted into the main stream with their debut album, High/Low, and the high school kid anthem, “Popular.” The NYC trio’s sophomore album followed in ‘98, but failed to reach the success of their debut. Now, in 2003, Nada Surf are returning to the scene armed with their best effort to date. The UK press has fallen in love with the band’s third album, Let Go, and rightfully so ñ it’s great. The album, which was released overseas last year, will drop domestically on February 4 via Barsuk. To celebrate, Nada Surf will embark on a month-long tour of the US in support of their stand out new album. The band will start things off with a home town gig at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC on February 17 and will wrap things up on March 13 as part of a Barsuk showcase at South By Southwest in Austin.
