Oasis Rebuild The Wonderwall, This Time With Noel As The Foreman

Noel Gallagher, world famous guitarist, acclaimed songwriter, and mastermind behind Oasis, entered the studio over the holidays to work on someÖ old material? NME reports that Noel was so impressed with Ryan Adams’ version of the Oasis classic “Wonderwall,” that it rejuvenated his own passion for the song. Noel said, “I never got my head round this song until I went to see Ryan Adams play and he did an amazing cover of it. So now I’m going to cover one of my own songs in the style of Ryan Adams.” Sources close to the band say that the new version is “completely different” from its 1995 predecessor and features Noel singing lead vocals, not Liam. There are no details on when, if ever, the new “Wonderwall” will be released, but we’ll let you know if we hear anything.
