New Rancid Comin’ At Ya This June

Rancid will release their sixth studio album (hopefully not titled Rancid again) this June. Rancid recently covered a handful of NOFX songs for the BYO Split Series, Vol. 3, but the new untitled record will be their first in three years. Bad Religion founding member and Epitaph guru Mr. Bret Gurewitz will produce the record and told Rolling Stone, “the new stuff is completely amazing. The songs and energy from the band in the studio have completely blown me away.” Rancid will headline the 2003 Vans Warped Tour to coincide with the release the highly anticipated new music, and until then, fans can continue blasting Lint’s Transplants CD.
