Ex-Guns N’ Roses Members Joined On-Stage By Gina Gershon

Things got wild and wacky last week at the Sundance Film Festival as three of the former members of Guns N’ Roses, Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum played a one-hour gig while fronted by actress Gina Gershon, according to MTV. Gershon, who plays a frontwoman for an all-girl rock band in the upcoming film Prey For Rock & Roll, said she was nervous going in, but that the whole experience was a blast. The set included covers of “I Wanna Be Your Dog” by The Stooges and “These Boots Were Made For Walking” by Nancy Sinatra but Gershon wasn’t the only vocalist who sang with the ex-Gunners on the evening.

Shooter Jennings, son of Waylon and singer for LA rock act Stargunn also joined the boys for rousing renditions of “Sympathy For The Devil” by the Rolling Stones, “New Rose” by The Damned and Bad Company’s “Feel Like Makin’ Love.” Also part of the set were a handful of Guns songs like “Paradise City and “It’s So Easy.” No word on when the new project from Sorum, Slash and McKagan is due, but it is known that they are still searching high and low for a new vocalist. Who knows under which rock they’ll find him?
