First Group Of Grammy Performers Announced

Grammy Award organizers have unveiled the first five performers for the February 23 ceremonies at Madison Square Garden. Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, Faith Hill, Norah Jones, and Nelly with Kelly Rowland will all have a turn at trying to impress the well dressed, horribly boring audience. These five performers have a total of 18 Grammy nods between them, with The Boss, Nelly, and Norah Jones each pulling in 5 nominations.

Less than two weeks before the 45th annual Grammy Awards get underway, Warner Music Group and the Recording Academy will pair up to release the ninth edition of the “Grammy Nominees” compilation album. The 19-track collection, which includes tracks from Eminem, Norah Jones, Craig David, Nickelback and more, will drop on February 11. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Academy’s MusiCares Foundation. Check out the 2003 Grammy Nominations CD track listing below.
