HBO Gives Sarah Silverman Her Own Comedy Series

The hot, talented, filthy comic Sarah Silverman has inked a deal with HBO to write, executive produce and star in a new comedy series. The Hollywood Reporter stated that Silverman, who wrote for SNL, Mr. Show, and appeared in Thereís Something About Mary and Crank Yankers, will center the show around her narcissistic, well-meaning persona topped with potty-mouthed sassiness. Silverman recently received critical acclaim for her stage show Jesus Is Magic that sold out the Beverly Hills’ Canon Theatre in 2002, and will remount it in NYC for a limited engagement later this year. Silverman is currently filming the Scott Rudin-produced vehicle School of Rock with Jack Black for Paramount Pictures.
