Ian McCulloch, lead singer of Echo and the Bunnymen, will release his third solo adventure Slideling, on May 6 via Cooking Vinyl Records. RollingStone tells us that Slideling was recorded at Doghouse Studios in Henley-on-Thames, England with Cenzo Townsend (who produced the Bunnymen’s Evergreen). Gwyneth Paltrowís current bucktoothed sexslave Chris Martin (Coldplay duh!) appears on the record, as does guitarist Johnny Buckland. Slideling is McCollouchís first solo offering since Mysterio which was releases eleven years ago. McCollouch assures fans that this solo piece is not the end of Echo and the Bunnymen.
