More and more artists are being announced for this year’s installment of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and it’s getting tastier by the minute. Promoters Goldenvoice have announced they have roped in The Beastie Boys to headline one of the two nights of America’s premier event, held again at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, CA, on April 26 and April 27. Joining the Beasties this year are heavy hitters such as The White Stripes, N.E.R.D., Underworld, and Ben Harper, as well as many up and coming acts, including Fischerspooner, The Mars Volta, The Donnas, The Polyphonic Spree, Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Johnny Marr, and Ladytron, amongst many more. Tickets are available from Saturday, February 22, and as anyone knows who has been there, accomodation goes quickly, so book soon if you plan on rocking in the heat of the desert come late April.
